Adoption Process and Pricing

Complete our puppy application

• The application includes questions about where you currently live, how many pets you own, breeds you have owned in the past, children living in your house and their ages, your lifestyle, things you do for fun, etc.
• Do you want an 8 week puppy or a trained 16 week puppy? Do you want a male or female?

Place Deposit

• A $500 refundable deposit is required to secure your slot within a litter. We will not accept deposits unless we have a slot available for you. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel prior to the time that the reserved puppy turns 6 weeks, we will refund $400. After 6 weeks, $300. After 7 weeks, $0.

Puppy Cam

• When the puppies turn 2 weeks old, we will share our Pupy Cam with you so tht you can see them any time! This camera will be shared within the Wyze App to the email that we have on file for you. You will have access to the livestream until the 8 week point.

Vet Visit 

• Around the 8 week point the puppies will see the vet. A full examination will be performed (including a fecal) and the first round of core vaccines will be given. Each pup will receive a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Once we see that all of the puppies have been cleared, we will verify puppy meet, greet, go home dates.

I'm Coming Home

• 1 week prior to the pups turning 8 weeks, we will contact you to schedule your date/time for puppy meet, greet, and go home. All paperwork will be finalized during this visit. At your puppy pickup, we will provide you with your SandyPaws Puppy Booklet and folder (which will include: a copy of the purchase agreement, microchip information, a record of all medications/vaccines that have been given to your pup up to the point of pickup, your pups AKC registration, and a new puppy booklet full of training tips and helpful information to help transition your pup to his/her new home). 
• Pickup takes about 30 minutes as we will thoroughly go through the folder and certain parts of the new puppy booklet with you and address any questions that you may have. To minimize distractions, we ask that if you have young children that you leave them with a sitter or bring someone along who can care for them while we go through paperwork.

Final Payment

• The final invoice will be emailed to you 2 weeks prior to the pup turning 8 weeks old and must be paid in full by the time the pup turns 8 weeks. If you would prefer meeting the pup first, then you must bring final payment in cash to pickup as we need funds cleared to release the pup. If you are participating in our Training Program, the training invoice will also need to be paid in full prior to the puppy beginning his/her training.
